Mississippi iteach Program Fees
How much does it cost?
Your $5,449 program fee includes the enrollment fee, enrollment in all required courses, two semesters of field supervision, support from iteach advisors and your Program Director, subscription access to the Teaching Channel™ and Khanmigo, and a 90-day test preparation voucher from Passage Preparation™.
iteach’s monthly payment plan allows you to defer much of the program fee until you begin your field experience. At the start of your field experience your remaining program fee balance is divided into 9-10 equal monthly interest-free installments.

You may apply at any time. iteach enrolls students on a continual basis, and our self-paced coursework means you don’t have to wait for a new semester to start your first class!
No. You can be admitted to the iteach Mississippi program with any non-education bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher education.
You’ll need to upload ONE of the following to the Applied box on your InstructNET portal:
- Score report showing an ACT score of twenty-one (21) or equivalent SAT score*,
- Score report showing a qualifying score on the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators test (view qualifying scores and register on the ETS website), or
- Official transcript(s) showing a 3.0 overall GPA on a baccalaureate transcript or a GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of course credit.
*SAT Score Equivalencies (based on the time the test was taken)
- March 2016 and thereafter: 1060 and above
- August 2015 – February 2016: 990 and above
- 1995 – August 2015: 980 and above
- Prior to 1995: 870 and above
iteach prepares candidates for Mississippi licensure in Elementary Education (4-6), Biology (7-12), Chemistry (7-12), Physics (7-12), English Language Arts (7-12), Mathematics (7-12), Chinese (K-12), French (K-12), German (K-12), Latin (K-12), and Spanish (K-12).
To be admitted to the iteach Mississippi program, you will need to upload a passing score report for the Praxis Subject Assessment required for the licensure area you want to pursue.
No, iteach does not participate in federal or state financial aid programs.
The iteach coursework is self-paced. You can complete all program-required instructional coursework within several months. You will also need to complete a one year supervised internship (field experience) as a teacher of record. Once you enroll, you have a maximum of two years to secure a teaching position for your supervised internship. Once hired, you must complete all remaining program requirements during your internship.
