Enrollment Requirements
To enroll in the Special Education Add-On program, you must hold a current Indiana Professional Educator License. (Emergency, Montessori, Charter, Out-of-State, ABCTE license do not qualify) If you do not hold a Professional Educator License, you can learn about our initial licensure here.
Because this is an add-on program, candidates are required to complete coursework tailored specifically to Special Education instruction and pass the required Praxis exam. Candidates are not required to retake the Principles of Teaching and Learning exam.
