Teach the Professional Field You Want
You can add a field in Elementary Education (P-5) to your current Induction, Professional, Advanced Professional or Lead Professional teaching certificate by completing iteach’s one-year add-on program. To finish the program, you will complete a yearlong supervised teaching experience in a P-5 classroom while working under a Non-Renewable Professional Certificate in Elementary Education.
To qualify for this certificate you must:
- Earn a passing score on the GACE® Elementary Education (P-5) Content Assessment (Induction Level)
- Be employed in a Georgia LUA (public or private school) or a GaPSC/GaDOE-approved charter school, teaching at least half-time in a P–5 classroom
