Valid LouisianaTeaching Certificate
Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3
Bachelor’s Degree
Coursework
Complete the Louisiana Introductory Course.
Agreement
Acknowledge your Enrollment Agreement.
Fees
Pay the $375 enrollment fee.

Add a Mild/Moderate Special Education Endorsement
(Grades 1-5, 4-8, or 6-12) to Your Louisiana Teaching Certificate
The iteach Louisiana Add-On Endorsement Program: Mild/Moderate Special Education provides a flexible pathway for certified Louisiana educators seeking to add a Mild/Moderate Special Education endorsement in Grades 1–5, 4–8, or 6–12.
To enroll, you must hold a valid Louisiana Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 teaching certificate.
Additional Louisiana Department of Education requirements, including applicable assessments, must be met before the endorsement can be added to your certificate.
We know testing can feel overwhelming—but you’re not on your own. Upon enrollment, you’ll receive a voucher for 90 days of access to a Passage Preparation™ test prep course to help you succeed.
