Outside of United States Graduation Requirements
Applicants who have completed coursework or earned degrees outside of the United States (50 states or the District of Columbia) must submit an original foreign credential evaluation report to iteach. A separate evaluation must also be submitted to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) for certification.
This report must:
- Include official English translations (if applicable)
- Provide a course-by-course evaluation
- Confirm U.S. degree and credential equivalency
- Include a cumulative GPA of credit hours
Please note that translations alone or incomplete/provisional evaluations based on unofficial documents will not be accepted.
With the exception of Puerto Rico, coursework or degrees completed in U.S. territories, possessions, or commonwealths (such as the U.S. Virgin Islands) must also be evaluated through a foreign credential report to ensure accurate credit is awarded.
Approved Evaluation Agencies
All credential evaluations must be completed by a GaPSC-approved agency. Applicants are responsible for all evaluation fees.
