Our program is designed to be rigorous and challenging but also supportive and flexible. You will experience a comprehensive program that covers all the essential topics required for teacher certification, including classroom management, teaching methods, and educational technology.
iteach maintains a 12:1 supervisor-mentee ratio. This ensures that you receive personalized support from a dedicated coach who is available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the 12-18 month program.

How iteach became the nation's highest quality alternative certification provider...
It all started when Dr. Diann Huber’s son came to her expressing his interest in becoming a teacher but without having to invest the time and money to get a master’s degree. As a Director of a university teacher preparation program, Dr. Huber understood her son’s perspective and thought there had to be an alternative path for smart, committed people like him to get into a classroom.
Dr. Huber develops a business plan for a new pathway for college graduates to become teachers.
Dr. Huber resigns from her role and establishes iteach. Upon approval from the TEA, iteach Texas opens and helps more than 300 teachers become certified.
iteach launches in Louisiana.
iteach launches in Hawaii.
iteach is accredited by NCATE
iteach launches in Nevada.
iteach becomes part of K12 Coalition, a collective of innovative education organizations committed to improving K-12 education.
